Picture Update

Here are the promised update pics.  I'll throw in the online listing pictures to give you an idea of what it looked like when the previous owners were there.  There were 2 different sets of photos taken of this house, and I'll show you the differences, too.  One set was for ZipRealty and will be on the left, and the ones on the right were for Trulia.  Whoever took the pics for ZipRealty was AH-MAZING.  I'll tell you what,  pictures really do matter.  I wish I was better at taking them ;P  Here you go!:

Looks the same - no progress made yet

And now:

Don't have one taken yet without the carpet, but here it is in the process of ripping it out:

And as it looks now:

(Because of this:)

Yeah, that's cat pee...

About the same, except for the pantry, which did look like this:

But now looks like this:

Still the same...for now...

And here is the same, too...sans their furniture.

Same - empty, but same.

Don't have any pictures, but imagine this - empty - and with no baseboards.

Same

First, Brian painted the ceilings...

And then I got the walls.  It just feels so much cleaner to me now!

It doesn't appear that different in these pictures, but I promise you, it is!  Exactly the same difference as the craft room, but the lighting in here is different, so it's harder to tell in pictures.

Okay, these pics are horrible.  The color looks so much cuter in person than it does in these pictures.  It is NOT florescent, I SWEAR!

The edges looked weird because we messed them up and hadn't fixed them yet.  They're a lot cleaner now ;)

Same thing here with the edges...they've been fixed :D

The backyard looks the same, except for the addition of all the crap they left us and the nasty baseboards and carpet.

Some rooms didn't get photographed by Trulia, but did by Zip Realty.  Here are those pics:

Master Bath Sink

Top of Stairs

Playroom
B painting the ceiling in the playroom.  So far, that's all we've gotten done.

The upstairs hallway

The color the playroom will eventually be.

One of the upstairs bathrooms - don't have any pics of this yet.
Well, that's everything for now :D

  1. Gorgeous home, Laura!!! Is it bad that I'm totally wanting to invite myself over to invade all that space? It's always so weird to me that such a beautiful place on the outside can be made so gross on the inside. You just NEVER KNOW what's going on behind closed doors sometimes. No matter how nice the neighborhood. That home sure is lucky to have you guys! Cheers!

  2. Aw, thanks!! You are so sweet! Once we get it all done, we want to have an open house, and we would love to have you come :D We feel very blessed to have all this space and know that it is a gift from God and we will strive to use it for His Glory.
