31 Days of Halloween 2014 - Day 27: Elsa's Frozen Trick-or-Treat Bag

My 5-year old is going as Elsa this year.  I was running out of time before the baby woke up, so I only put 3 snowflakes on this and the glitter looks a little wonky.  With more time at my disposal, I would've added more snowflakes and taken more time to make the glitter really look like snow ;)  BUT, she had a bag, so we'll just be thankful for that ;P

Supplies:
5 sheets of light blue felt
1-2 sheets of glitter white felt
White thread
Snowflake template (google or pinterest for your favorite shapes)

Print out a snowflake pattern, pin it to your glitter felt, and cut out.

Pin snowflakes to a sheet of light blue felt.  Sew lines across the snowflake (I did three each snowflake to add dimension to the shape)

Follow the instructions for the Water Fairy bag to cut and attach the sides and back.

Cut 2 strips the same as the water fairy bag for the handles, but to attach them, pin them to the inside of the bag.  Sew on with a box and then an x in the center.

All done!  Bling it out however you'd like by hot gluing jewels, rick rack, etc.  The sky's the limit!

Here's ours all blinged out and glittered up for the big night of trick-or-treating:

Our beautiful Elsa is all ready to go!
